 New volunteers are always welcome.
The more industries, skills, experience, and talent we have in our chapter, the better we can serve small businesses.  Counseling is gratifying and provides satisfaction in helping people make the right decisions for themselves and for the economy.

 How much time does it take?
A typical volunteer may have 2 to 4 clients resulting in 1 to 3 counseling sessions per week.  Monthly office duty is 3 hours, and monthly membership meetings are about an hour.

 What happens next? 
You will be interviewed and asked to complete an application that will be sent to the National SCORE office for approval.  Once approved, you will be trained in office procedures and you will co-counsel with an experienced counselor until you are comfortable on your own.
